Meet Buttons...

Sorry for the lack of posts in the last week guys, I just got back to school and my laptop isn't hooked up to the WiFi yet. *sigh* Imagine that. No internet in the evenings. (I have no friends) :D
ANYWAY the week before I came back I went to visit my cousin and whilst I was doing some 'last minute' summer work, she occupied herself by handmaking a teddy.

Meet Buttons.

And what a glorious little fellow she truly is. I actually love this toy. It has a feel of nostalgia and handmade-ness that makes you go 'aww'. It made me think about all those times I went about embarking on rediculously hard projects with a soul full of childish optimism, then giving up halfway through, leaving a trail of half built dens and partially bald barbies in my wake.
I wish I had more time to make stuff now, because it'd probably be marginally better. Though to be honest my sewing looks sort of like just stabbed the fabric and hoped for the best. Ah well.
