So tomorrow is the last day of spring term, and let me tell you that I am VERY ready to go home. I'm so ready that I packed on tuesday and have been counting down the days left till I can crawl into my own bed and watch all my recorded TV.
Being at a boarding school is very diferent to being at a day school. Unlike day school, you are socialising with the same people constantly 24/7, from the moment you wake up to the moment you go to sleep, which can sometimes be really draining. There is no time when you can go into your own space and just switch off, because people pop in and out of your room for a chat.
But most of all what I've had enough of is the workload. There's always that one essay that just sits in your open bag, looking maliciously up at you saying "You can't avoid me forever...you got me last Tuesday and I'm due in tomorrow...I won't write myself you know..." However I do have mocks straight after the easter so I've actually got quite a bit of revision and coursework polishing left to do. Ah well, I guess I'll just enjoy what free time I have
